The most common Southborough request we plan for is the full upstairs: several bedrooms, the hall runner of wall-to-wall, and the staircase. Bedroom carpet stays fairly clean but collects dust and body oils along the bed sides and in front of closets, which turn gray over time. Stairs are a different story: the front edge of each tread wears first, and the landing carries every footstep. We clean stairs step by step with a hand tool, not just a quick pass.

Formal living rooms here often have upholstery in ivory, oatmeal or light gray, sometimes used only for holidays. Those fabrics show every water ring, so method matters. Our low-moisture approach keeps less water in the cushions, and we check the fabric and its care label first. If the label or the fabric tells us cleaning could cause damage, we say so and skip it rather than gamble with your furniture.
